there are certainly aspects of industrial production that need to be reined in for the good of the natural world (and ourselves, by extension), but I sort of thought the point of communism is that we use the surplus possible under industrialization for the good of everyone and not just the people who happen to own the factories. Going back to substance agriculture or a nomadic lifestyle won't meet the basic needs of everyone alive today.
I never said return to monkey. Like I think we should should scale back production of everything drastically and try to contain all of humanity in mega cities so we can cut down on transportation costs.
