When Hexbear federated with other instances and enabled images there was a wrecker that immediately started spamming porn. People can click the fediverse icon to see what you posted but I just assume that they can't pick and choose which instances to block for external images. I think you'd have to use HB emoji links like

Is that what it's for? I assumed it was to prevent people from scraping IPs.
