They also parroted the same old bullshit about "recommending" masks as if that means literally anything. In fact, it's worse than nothing, because it makes it seem like it might actually have an effect. Imagine if they only "recommended" handwashing for hospital staff and proudly stated that as if it showed their commitment to patient health.
