"With Lenin about to destroy the Romanov family, Rasputin sends Anastasia through a magical portal.

Rasputin helps Anastasia escape Lenin's murderous plot through a time travel portal. Landing in Madison, USA, in 1988, Anastasia is befriended by a teenage girl, Megan while hiding from Rasputin who bound by an evil spell is out to capture her."

Ignore that Rasputin died in 1916 and the revolution is in 1917. Also, ignore how Anastasia died in 1918 so it's double weird. It's the same magic that let Anastasia go through the portal I swear Rasputin told me himself.

I'm not really seeing the big deal?

None of this should come as a surprise to any true Lenin fans.

As we saw in Lenin Walks around the World there's nowhere Lenin can't go, so it makes perfect sense Rasputin had to send Anastasia through time to escape him.

    Lenin walks around the world.

    Frontiers cannot bar him.

    Neither barracks nor barricades impede.

Nor does barbed wire scar him.

Lenin's mind control abilities are also strongly forshadowed in the same comic:

    Lenin walks around the world.

Black, brown, and white receive him.

    Language is no barrier.

    The strangest tongues believe him.

I'm excited to finally see such a faithful adaption!
