Police had initially reported that the teenager had threatened to run officers over, but a video that circulated on social media contradicted this claim. The video shows two police officers standing beside Nael’s stopped car, when a voice says “You are going to get a bullet in the head.” Nael appears to start to drive off, upon which one of the officers shoots him point blank in the head.

      I tried automatic transcription, but it's too muddy. I think the first bit has some "you're going to see" and "he was 19, you saw it was a child."

        "You'll never feel safe anymore"; "he had a kid's face for fuck's sake"; "murderer"; "there's a hundred thousand people behind me"; those are the ones I remember. Even as a native speaker the sound sucks.

        And he was indeed detained - still is I think.
