If by miracle they actually get elected into power, they will not even come close to abolishing private property, ffs they won't even abolish the Japanese Monarchy lol They had an upsurge in membership during the 2008 crash, but has not been able to maintain that momentum, their big issue seems to be Anti-Nuclear Power and maintaining arcticle 9 of the Japanese Constitution that keeps Japan a Pacifist Nation. The rightwing Liberal Democratic Party, especially under Abe, are always trying to abolish Article 9.
