      It isn't even a new or unquie commentary. This is something that has been observed about state craft going back thousands of years. It is quite literally "bread & circuses".

      Even the fkn Roman Empire was concerned with "treats" and knew that the treats must flow or everything goes to hell pretty darn quick.

      I mean Das Kapital basically starts with Marx saying that in a different way.
