How many times can they do the same joke before people get bored. And they made 2 games with the same humour as well. I guess its for the infinite churn of teenagers with poor taste.
Honestly I loved the show and thought it was deep when I was like 12 and there were only two seasons, but I grew out of it by the time I was maybe 15, so I have no idea how grown adults eat that shit up.
I watched it as an adult and bits of it are still amusing to me. It's not really an amazing show but it has its moments now and then, also the episodes are generally short so you're not really wasting that much time on it.
it (very) loosely had some heavy metal and futurama vibes, I was very upset when i couldn't get szechuan sauce despite not caring about it at all for like 20 years.

i haven't watched the trailer, and I don't know anything about it, so I am in a great position to give my opinion about it.If this was produced by a Japanese studio, i don't see the difference between this and "horny isekai #192031". They're shameless cashgrabs and we already know the anime industry is way less demure about going for them all-in, and milking the popular IP till it gives the last drops of revenue.
I genuinely can't tell if that's a bit or something they're actually doing. Reasons it may not be a bit: it has the wrong blend of high and low effort for an adult swim bit, spending way too much effort on things that aren't clear gags and also not bothering to do any gags; it's also not dripping with irony. Reasons it may be a bit: it's fucking stupid and bland and this is adult swim we're talking about, which has historically done a bunch of "lol look at how much this thing we're doing sucks lmao, isn't that wacky and ironic?"
Seems pretty official, apparently 10 episodes are coming to adult swim and hbo max later this year, and they announced the anime sometime last year
