Where do we begin with Elon Musk? This guy sucks. He really does. He’s a business magnate that wants to be Robert House, not realizing how much Robert House was an asshole. Imagine basing your politics of a vidya. While his cars are nice, he’s abusive to his staff, randomly fires people, and he takes all the credit for any successes in his companies. Give him your worst

Actually his cars are shit, they fall apart like twice daily, they are IMPOSSIBLE to repair, AND you need a special certification to even fucking touch one at a body shop

I’ve actually been in one for around 3 hours and it had a very smooth ride and good AC. I don’t know about the build quality though, but there are worse build qualities on electric cars

oh yeah, definitely. My point is more from a mechanics POV that they're expensive and inconvenient to fix, and they break more often than the muskrat wants to admit- They are quite comfy tho

I honestly wonder what happens to Tesla once you get proper competition from other American companies

Once people realize how clapped out most teslas are, I think they'll go into a period of loss like from around 08-11 (pre-elon) when their Model One roadster was selling like shit. Also, fun fact; The first Tesla roadster was effectively a prius powered lotus evora without much of their own technology inside

It was a Lotus Evora with 2000 computer batteries inside, and it also had an abysmal charge time

there's an interview where they discuss how much it shares with the lotus, and the response was something around 5% if not less.
