Like i said on the main thread- If an anarchist had taken down r/chapotraphouse or MTC everyone would be foaming at the mouth and brigading but since it's a Le Epic Marxist Owning an Anarchist, it's seen as NBD. Kinda hypocrtical.

MTC had a huge banwave because of a few dick mods. They got rid of everyone who spoke favourably about China for being "Dengists". That's why r/MMTC was created.

these people would call mao a dengist if they knew what he actually thought and did instead of idealizing the chinese revolution and making statements without knowing shit

like, it's literally on their fucking flag. there 5 stars on that thing, 1 of them is literally for the bourgeoisie

Agree. This is all a big waste of time too. Stop fighting each other and fight the thing that matters. It's just wasted time and energy.

I read that as r/zenzanarchist and thought it was a parody sub about lefties that uncritically spread bs anti-China propaganda

I haven't decided whether I should upvote it or not... it pains me to say, but I think they believe you're being sincere. Check out the comments about this.

Why did they even do that? If anything, it's probably going to make people hate online mls even more.

The creator said she hated the subreddit because of the way it spoke about tankies. She had been on r/GenZedong a few times complaining about how... "anti-tankie" they were. I remember that whenever someone posted a r/genzanarchist post to dunk on anarchists (usually the screenshot compared MLs with reactionaries) she would comment that she regretted creating the community when she "was younger and more ignorant" (her words).

Again, I can't imagine this going any different if it had been the r/GenZedong creator becoming an anarchist. There's a lot of bad blood between the two communities. This is what the subs say: tankies are red fascist genocide deniers and anarchists are liberals who will defend fascism before Communism. No idea why she didn't make it private instead but it's her own deal.

Edit: they have set it to private now. Inchresting. Why do such a move if you're not gonna be able to handle the flame?

Closing down the election on November 3rd for a coup wasn't ok.

I totally realize most people are going to disagree with me here but I feel compelled to say that closing the polls for a coup wasn’t a very kind thing to do. We have seen TONS of posts about voting from vulnerable populations talking about how voting Biden/Harris is a source of support and humor in a dark time. Irony and dirtbagism aside, taking away that support without warning was not okay.

You can say I’m being silly, or humorless or reactionary. Whatever. I love Biden and I love this community. But sometimes I come home after dealing with ableism and our nightmare reality all day, and Kamala is one of many things that make me feel better. It wasn’t a good feeling to find the election closed for the sake of Trump's second term. Maybe that’s laughable or pathetic. But for me, it’s true.

There were a few dark moments in my life. One of those few rays was opening /r/GenZAnarchist to shoot the shit, share some memes and struggle on in life in that sub

Some people might say im being hyperbolic but it was like my own personal Kronstaddt when I saw it had been couped
