I wanted to make a thread about Stalin interview with H.G.Wells. It showcases that liberal arguments against left has barely changed in almost a century. Has a classics like class arguments are too reductionist and simplistic and that modern world no longer needing violent leftist propaganda and methods and all could be resolved peacefully (which is especially hilarious in the context of the world in the 30ties). Also Wells basically thinks that socialism (or more like social democracy) will become a reality soon in the western world.

Also Wells calls Stalin a lib in it: "Under these circumstances, it seems to me, we must not bring to the forefront the antagonism between the two worlds, but should strive to combine all the constructive movements, all the constructive forces in one line as much as possible. It seems to me that I am more to the Left than you, Mr. Stalin; I think the old system is nearer to its end than you think. "
