    my fellow chapos and chapettes im 26, and im going out with this girl. we've been on a few dates already, but we havent kissed just yet.. this is the first time i've ever dated anyone, or ever been close to having a relationship with someone else, and i dont want to blow it. but i dont know how i feel about this girl. i dont dislike her, mind you - we talk a lot when we're together and we always have a good time. however, i'm not sure how interesting she is to me, which is strange because we've got a lot in common. i think years of social isolation has reduced my emotions to smithereens

      It can be very intimidating to just go for a kiss if you are not sure if the advance is wanted. Good way to test the water is to get physically close to her by - for example - watching some movie and sitting on a couch or laying in bed together. Maybe ever so slightly touch her leg with your leg and see how it feels for you and if she breaks the contact or keeps her legs where they are or even gets closer to you on her own. In my limited experience this can give you a pretty good idea if she is physically into you or not.
