Yeah the harassment of our top wholesome-poster and the blatant shit stirring I saw in the drama thread definitely pushed me to where you are. Shit still sucks tho. I can't imagine the headspace you gotta be in to do shit like all the kerry posting. :\
I feel like it’s a mix of this and also probably a lot more younger kids (like early teenagers) on here than we probably think. Definitely for some of them probably some weird stuff going on in their personal life. In the megathreads on the discord, it was the same 5 people talking all day long. Like literally nonstop 24/7. I woke up at 4am once and browsed the discord cause I couldn’t go back to sleep and the same 5 people were still going. Gotta be some stuff going on in their lives to where they’re that obsessed over and glued to the internet.
As far as I can tell (I didn't really pay attention to the discord.)
Transperson gets misgendered on discord, they get apologized to for it.
Said transperson later gets banned from the discord (unsure why I'm not paying attention)
Said transperson decides its because the mods hate trans people.
Trans splinter discord forms.
They decide that one of the mods (or former they may have already stepped down at this point idk) is a pedophile.
The fact that the mods haven't banned this supposed pedophile means that the mods are pro pedo.
The basis of their claim as far as I can tell is some furry porn that clearly isn't child porn.
Splinter group proceeds to spam posts on chapo chat about person being a pedophile.
While this is happening there's also some weirdo just spamming John Kerry relentlessly, may or may not be related to splinter group.
Mod of the trans /c/ here who was not a discord mod attempts to make a good faith reach out to try to figure out how to solve the trans splinter groups problems with the mods.
The people from the splinter group who decided to respond refuse to answer with what their actual grievances are, it literally went in circles for like 20 comments before I wanted to slam my head into a wall and stopped reading.
Trans splinter group proceeds to make fun of the Trans community mod rather than do anything productive.
