Just had some stir fried vegetable and adding MSG was magic.

    it doesn't add so much a "salty" flavor as a completely different one, I believe it's called umami. though MSG is sold as "low-sodium salt", I find that anything that needs more saltiness after a good dose of table salt is better served by a dash of vinegar or some other ingredient

    nothing can substitute good old NaCl imo though
