jokermala I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for.

She’ll distance herself from a single comment from Biden about Trump supporters but not distance herself from Biden’s genocide in Gaza, got it.

One is a "civility issue", which is supremely important, the other is "international human rights" which is color coded and unimportant. Please stop losing sight of what could complicate Harris' legendary candidacy.

Really does highlight that the only real problem libs have with trump is that he's rude (which was also their loudly stated problem with punished-bernie back in the day, even though he wasn't)

Almost as if she actively supports the genocide and everyone pretending she doesn't and would change course after winning are either 1) coping or 2) intentionally lying to try and get you to vote for her.

Arab/Muslim vote could literally cost her Michigan.

It's not even electoralism, she just supports the genocide.

The way I have heard them explain it, they are trying to play the long game. They're hoping Trump destroys the Republican party (again) so that they can court even more white suburbanites (again). Didn't work before, but will now for...nebulous reasons.

It also gives them a convenient scapegoat AND a reason to get more racist

of course, it's also a 'donor class v voter class' thing

So, if I understand the message from liberals correctly, if you don't vote for Kamala you're implicitly endorsing the end of democracy and human rights in America, but if you vote for Trump you're not a bad person?

    • FunkyStuff [he/him]

It depends. If you refuse to vote for Kamala as a minority, that is basically a vote for Trump, therefore you're a bad person. If you're too racist to vote Kamala right now so you're thinking of voting for Trump, you're a good person who just needs a bit of help to see Kamala is the right candidate who will do what you want her to do, much more effectively than Trump.

Leftists who don't vote for Harris are supporting a fascist and threatening democracy and deserve what's coming to them, but Republicans who gleefully support the person they call fascist are actually good people.

That's pretty easy to reconcile. Not voting for Kamala = vote for Trump, therefore not voting for Trump = vote for Kamala, therefore voting third party or not voting at all = vote for Both Kamala and Trump, so you're not a bad person and are not endorsing the end of democracy, crisis averted.

Its hilarious how outraged Republicans got about this when trump calls large groups of people garbage or other disparaging terms almost every day

She spent all that time sucking up to conservatives just for Biden to call them all trash. Extremely funny way to lose

Her fucking fault she had like a 15 point lead when they were calling chuds weird fascists then she did the usual lib bullshit of sacrificing literally every other voting block to appeal to the mythical "moderate republican"

At a certain point doing the same thing over and over again loses the generosity of the benefit of the doubt.

Like literally it's (poorly) in response to somebody calling all of Puerto rico garbage.

"Puerto Rico isn't garbage and if you think it is you're garbage" is the exact kind of thing dems should have been saying for 10 years at this point.

As I've been saying for years and getting frustratingly vindicated constantly, these civility fetishists are gonna get us all fucking killed.

I don't think that 15 point lead was ever going to last. That was the lead when the country saw her as "Generic Democrat that isn't Biden."

    Biden: MAGA supporters are garbage.

Wasn’t Biden doing a lot of the same in 2020? I remember him doing the whole “unity” thing then and getting praise for it.
