I remember seeing a photo of a number of high profile American journalists recreating a photo, themselves posing as either dead bodies (in Iraq?) or hostages, in a big group photo.
It really stuck with me. I am sure something like this happened. I am sure someone on hexbear showed me it. I now can't find it.

No, I'm aware of those too. I am somewhat sure it was a re-enactment of a famous war image by....... if it wasn't a team of journalists.... it was at least someone else of that sort of class who definitely SHOULDN'T be re-enacting such a photo.

I'm IP banned from Reddit for some milquetoast Israel criticism. Legit, I stumbled upon r/Judaism or something, and as a Jewish person I pointed out a couple of times (with lib-esque civility language I might add) that anti-zionism is not the same as anti-Semitism. IP-banned. No other history of Reddit bans. Any new account I make gets banned within an hour.
