Idk if I’m a tankie. I know a lot of the stuff we heard about USSR was lies in the form of propaganda, so I assume a lot of what we hear about China and North Korea is the same.

According to what I've seen, even entertaining doubt at the validity of unsourced claims by Western media and state departments makes you a tankie.
If you cite the cia on Soviet caloric intake you're also a tankie
And if you cite the CIA on whether Stalin was an all-powerful dictator, you're a super-tankie
