corporate dems will NEVER allow universal healthcare if they can help it. By letting corps be the only ones giving healthcare as a benefit, they're letting corps better control the employment market.

They're basically cutting off competition from mom&pop operators, because mom and pops can't afford healthcare on their own.

Bold prediction: over the next 5 years we're gonna see video games, movies, and shows about "resistance fighters" fighting the CPC. Like, CIA Jim goes undercover with the Uighyurs to bomb a CPC installation or something. They'll definitely emphasize attacking the CPC specifically and not "the Chinese government" in general. Most probably won't directly say Xinjiang or the Uighyurs, but it will be pretty obvious to everyone.

there's a popular multiplayer only version of call of duty in china i think, they may resist a little bit more. Remember though that Battlefield already did war with china like 4 times now

battlefield 2 was the best one because it just focused on fighting and left lore to nerds and loading screens. The future one was literally about China and Russia going on a genocidal rampage because an ice age had made the east uninhabitable and they needed to steal as much land as possible before it was too late. (Coincidentally Africa just lets the Europeans recolonize the south)

I didnt actually know that about 2142, I kinda just assumed it was presented as an amoral struggle for survival. I guess that the behind-the-scenes lore made the EU as the 'good guys'?

I mean maybe but in doing so the game will probably either be banned in China or it wont sell very well and the publishers reputation there will be damaged, which is not something game publishers want to do in such a huge market.

The bourgeoisie's alligence is to capital above all else, even national interest.

Is a bus pass like you are breathing, get on? I really hope y’all don’t pay to get on public transportation. Unless they force you.

Public transportation where I live is so bad that most people pay to avoid it.

It's also like $2 a fare, usually runs late, oftentimes won't show up at all, and you can expect to spend 45 minutes getting to your destination even if it's two miles away and would be faster to walk.

There’s not a city with good public transportation. They’re all trash because they invest the bare minimum into it.

If you call yourself an anarcho-bidenist then both tankies and anarchists should be allowed to shoot you.

    Even ancaps. It's that annoying.

I harbor no resentment to people who are going to vote for Biden this election, but if your answer to people who feel powerless in the face of what, for them, could very well be an inconsequential election is to call them selfish and saboteurs, you're no comrade. You're not even tackling this from the left.

Well the narcos forced the poor ignorant indians to vote that way obviously, also who needs Bolivia anyway Santa Cruz has a inalienable right to seceed and take as many poor communities with it as it can.

ted cruz returns triumphantly to his homeland, ushering in an age of peace* and prosperity* for the christmas-caliphate of bolivia. cruz, now always seen wearing his signature red suit, is an iconic figure of democratic success, after his new lithium export policies are declared an unrivaled economic success.

It's a stretch for sure, but I can see the argument being that "Evo wants socialism but we've tried that and socialism no food so this is a case where people are voting for the wrong thing that will actually hurt them". Probably the neolibs will just give up and move on to Chile or something.

Wow! Thank you! Valuable resources. I’ll make sure to spread.

But you do know Bezos doesn’t actually have the much liquid wealth? If he were to take it all out of his stocks it would be worth $0... :agony-4horsemen:

This also puts in perspective how important our fight is. We are fighting to free people from the shackles of the most oppressive state ever. Do they have one for people we’ve killed and injured in war?

God that would be horrifying and useful. If you go to the main page there's a "200,000 killed by covid" representation that uses generated faces, seems like they could do something like that.

I can only do two in one night but I’ll check out the Covid one tomorrow. Really great resources. Everyone’s so online these days. It’s a useful perspective.

Definitely. I sent the Bezos ones to my parents so they could do it on their own phones and it actually left a mark.

They must not think very hard. Looks like they also think radical feminism is liberalism... which, if you can label the philosophy that promotes systematic analysis as that that while upholding your choicey-empowerment individualist rhetoric as presumably the radical one... well then, I guess people don’t read books anymore.

      TERFs are Maoist?????
