    In other news, this could apply to most of Europe too. Don't underestimate how badly so many EU countries are still pretending that nothing is happening.

      Yeah it's pretty grim all around unfortunately. Hard to have faith that we can deal with any big problems in the face of our utter failure at containing covid.
