typical neoliberal braindead take... they obviously don't think about this for 10 seconds to realize that colonialism, slavery, sharecropping, exploitation of migrants, and prison labor are all racist endeavors and all make money for capital.

Racism is bad because it interferes in our perfect meritocracy, which is a very real thing that we have and that definitely works. This interference makes markets less efficient, which is blasphemy against the money spirits.

These takes are starting to sound more and more like trying to explain morals to an uncaring semi intelligent computer...

"Hey capitalism 3000; you can optimize your human cattle resource by forcing them to be nicer to each other; You don't need to change the oppressive system of the abattoir; Just fit them with a shock collar that electrocutes them every time a racism happens! "

    Capitalism solves everything.

Does anyone still think you can radicalize libs and move them left???? Let this be an example to you that they believe in capitalism like it's a religion.

(taking a wild guess but not going to waste my time finding the article)

Probably like "what do white people spend per year" and make people of every other race spend that much too.

"Planning is inefficient compared to having 90% of economic decision making power devoted to not allocating resources but speculating on what might happen to that allocation in the future, and then tying a bunch of unrelated speculations together, abstracting it three levels, and pretending it's "risk managed"."

Talking to Econ phds was always so infuriating because I’m like wtf is this research project but also getting a cushy tenure track faculty position for them is their backup.

"So racism cost black people 16 trillion dollars?"

"No it cost white people that much"

This is why materialism and economics are not the same thing
