Don't want to make this sadder, but the synagogue was well known in Pittsburg for a refugee relocation program (source) and this massacre happened around the same time fox news, Donald Trump, and republicans were talking about George Soros funded central American refugee caravans coming to the border. Anti-semitism fueled by anti-internationalist solidarity to those without. That's why we must always remember that an injury to one is an injury to all.
Whenever I see an anniversary for things like this I end up getting half-torn because of the atrocity & half-torn because I'd totally forgotten with the frequency that shit like this occurs.
Yeah it’s near constant these days. It’s got to be fucking us up psychologically. Personally I’m trying to hold onto every ounce of hatred for these right wing sacks of shit until we have our opportunity.
