There are legitimately a number of them who are actually trans girls who have been over-compensating this whole time for feelings they have deep down. The actual number of trans people out there is 1% est, the number that are out or doing anything about it is nowhere near 1%.
Some trans people double down on over-compensation to escape their deep seated feelings. This result in massive mysogyny and reactionary behaviour. I know a lot of trans people who admit to having been transphobes at some point prior to their egg breaking. The journey to self acceptance is weird and difficult.
