The end of the episode went to a kind of strange place. Am I the only one who thinks it's a bit much to be hyper critical of colleges when everyone on the call (with the exception of maybe Felix) has at least a bachelor's degree? And many work in academia and/or journalism? It kind of reminds me of conservatives shitting on universities but at the same time attending Ivy League schools. They resent the institutions but crave the legitimacy. Shouldn't we encourage young people to pursue whatever post high school education (including the trades) they desire? I'm not sure I buy Matt's assertion that politics will split into who did and didn't attend college. It's not virtuous to attend college. It's also not virtuous to not attend college. Aren't they falling for the same condescension of the working class that they criticize on the right? Am I losing it or did it come off a bit fart sniffy?

I don't think its hypocritical. It might be a bad hypothesis, but I don't think its hypocritical that a person who went to college came up with the idea.

Not sure how I feel about it yet but I can understand the argument.
