    fucking damn right, it was so obvious when they sent all the students to uni in the middle of a pandemic, only to get instantly locked down and stuck in halls, that it was because the people who own all the massive student accomodation blocks wouldn't take the hit of an entire terms rent. 'why that's millions of pounds! absolutely preposterous!! pack those buggers in i say!!!'. not to mention the unis not being able to justify the huge tuition fees for zoom lectures. if anything this is giving all these students a crash course in capitalism and class consciousness earlier in life than i got it so could end up being a net positive.

      Earlier in life and more important in a location where organising is easy and they all identify as one team "students".
