Here comes the gerrymandering. Republicans continue to keep their eyes on the prize while Dems ignore it.

    Here comes the gerrymandering.

Good. Gerrymandering works by concentrating your opponents voters in a few districts and spreading yours over more districts.

So the GOP would win more seats with smaller margins while the Dems would win less seats with larger margins.

Dems would then have safe districts with better chances at a successful primary.

I'm not a proponent of entryism into the democratic party as a socialist strategy, but I do like the idea of of more NYT opeds written freaking out as the neolib ghouls continue to lose to left challengers.

This occurred in Australia in the 1920s with a third party labour party and led to first past the post voting being abolished.

The Five Thirty Eight live feed during the election was hilarious. Nate and the rest of his staff were all having meltdowns starting from the moment they realized it wasn't going to be a blue wave landslide blowout. They retorted to whining and complaining about the electoral college by about 11 PM and then a few days later Nate smugly put up that article saying "Actually, it was a big win for Biden, our maps were right".

Hmmm. "Republicans will control House redistricting in Texas, Florida, Ohio and a bunch of red states" doesn't have quite the same ring to it. Gonna rate this headline inflammatory.

They made gains in New York and several "blue" states. Ohio and Florida are pretty much red states, and anyone that bought into that liberal BS about Texas turning blue, they can give that up right now.

stupid socialists! Don't you know the American people want enlightened centrism and both parties to work together? No, they don't want healthcare, we need a strong Republican party!
