it's tough out there, hope you can find something soon!
i got really really lucky with timing. the job i left i could tell was imminently heading towards a mental health disaster (i was on the verge of mental breakdowns several work days recently it got so bad), and i got out just in time with a job starting up in a week. like i was having nightmares of the job and couldn't sleep well, sundays were filled with a crazy amount of anxiety for monday morning... etc
my new job is a role i'm far more comfortable with plus, no more dealing with customers every day which will be much nicer.
I'm really burned out. When the company is micromanaged from the top down by leadership that don't know what they're doing, it's really frustrating to see all the mistakes they're making and all the pointless activity that goes on.
I've been able to skate by due to covid and having had a good reputation prior to burning out, but I'm not particularly enjoying the work I'm doing, and it doesn't seem like things are going to get better.
With covid, I think everyone is trying to cut wages. So I've found a few places that seemed promising, and I'd be doing work a step up from what I've been doing, but then they've offered me a 15% or 25% paycut, which is hard to swallow.
