    Did you know this is actually FAKE NEWS BACH? It's a Vivaldi transcription. Bach's harpsichord---transcribed or otherwise---still rocks though; my all-time fave is BWV 1052 (Trevor Pinnock's performance is definitive IMO).

    If you want to hear a spicy, contemporary interpretation of Bach, check out the Evan Shinners post I made last week. It's not a historically accurate performance like this post is, but I think his style is incredibly energetic and refreshing; I'm a stan. I wish I could upload his rendition of 1052, but I'm worried about the copyright cops.

      Awesome! I wish that recording of Evan Shinners was better, since you can tell his articulation is great but it doesn't really come through. Listening to BWV 1052 now.
