im just trying to escape immense disappointment and demoralization so maybe the countryside would be better ._.
wow is that game I wind up playing every couple of years for a month. I really want to like it but... ugh... how is it these days? what did they end up doing with classic?
I mean, it's more fun for me than retail but I can't maintain interest in either game beyond a couple of weeks at a time. the nostalgia factor of classic is neat and I love the playstyle of warlock from that era (mmm, draintanking). but I've kinda seen it all in the wotlk era and there's nothing genuinely new for me there except maybe learning to tank (and leveling a warrior sounds fucking miserable). I'll probably give retail a shot for a short bit to see the new stuff while I'm bored over the holidays then drop the game like I always do.
oh yeah, for sure, I'm definitely giving them what they want but w/e, I was looking for something distracting to amuse myself with for a couple of weeks anyway.

I tried wow classic when that launched and it was fun until I had other things to do and then it was too time-consuming to go back. I got about as far as I always do, which was like mid-thirties in that era of the game.
yea I played during MoP a bit. I kinda hate the post-cata talent trees, it took away the diversity and one of the real fun parts of the game for me. also, there are so. many. things. that feel like work. nothing feels fun or organic. idk
ooh, underworld zones sounds fun. I might check that out and just buy the appropriately leveled character so I don't get bored before I see those zones, haha.

it always plays out shitty, lol. I can't remember the last time I played something blizzard put out and had real fun. but wc3 was my jam for years and I get the nostalgia bug for the world every so often.
