Hey chapos, got a weird one for you here. Drove by some banner on the highway yesterday that said "COVID-19 VACCINE MANUFACTURERS ARE EXEMPT FROM LIABILITY." Chalked it up to local weirdness and moved on.

Turns out these things are all over the fucking place:

Florida - https://www.news4jax.com/news/local/2020/11/29/anti-vaccine-message-greets-drivers-on-i-95-sunday-morning/

North Dakota: https://www.valleynewslive.com/2020/11/30/local-group-takes-to-pedestrian-bridge-to-raise-awareness-on-covid-vaccine/

Maine: https://www.newscentermaine.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/activists-put-up-anti-vaccine-banners-to-raise-awareness-on-covid-19-vaccine-risks/97-808d567d-e00a-453f-9f33-fe54fcb1934a

North Carolina: https://www.wral.com/covid-19-vaccine-sign-hanging-over-i-40-in-durham-worries-doctors/19407392/

All completely identical styles, all the same in every way. I can't figure out who is doing this. Some of the news stories say that it's a grassroots thing. Others say that it's part of an "international effort." Lastly, a group called "V for Vaccine" gets mentioned a few times, but I can't find anything about them online. Anybody know anything? Definitely something fishy going on behind the scenes here - way too coordinated for a bunch of wacko antivaxx groups to get identical banners and distribute them nationwide.

Agree. I wonder by who? Maybe some domestic group that wants the public health situation to stay worse for a while, or another country? The usual suspects for domestic astroturfing would want most people to be vaccinated so people go back to work and line go up imo.
