"Every joke is a tiny revolution" -George Orwell

Brezhnev is visiting a scientific establishment in the USSR. "And this," says the guide, "is our new super-computer. The team which built it says it can answer any question within the range of man's knowledge." The guide then asks the computer some questions about science and astronomy. The computer gives the correct replies immediately. "But what about social sciences?" Brezhnev asks "Put any question you like," the guide replies. "When will Russia be TRULY communist?" Brezhnev asks. "In one hundred kilometres," the machine asnwers. Brezhnev looks puzzled and says that the reply is meaningless. The guide looks puzzled too. "I think i can explain"says a tea boy standing just behind him. They turn and look indignantly at him. "Its like this," he continues. "The machine replied that it would take one hundred kilometres because everytime a Five Year Plan is completed our leaders say we are one step near Communism."

What's the difference between Australians and the Nazis?

The Nazis didn’t demand an apology from Picasso for Guernica

Its called Half Price books in Berkeley! I was very surprised too. It's kinda neat to open a book and see what other comrades have underlined. I wish i could buy them all.
