Dude I just fucking did this today, only it was citations needed pod as I drove from socal to the bay. I loved it, only heard like three pods before this but I get the hype now. Like, I knew a lot of what they were talking about already but I appreciated how well their guests were and how well they can connect the proper leftist thought to modern shit in a way I can explain it better in laymen's terms to people.
One of the hardest things for me is expressing actual theory to people who don't know shit about it in a way that is more easily understandable and straight to the point. It really made me realize how bad I can be at conveying very important topics to people that can easily agree with it but without sounding like a pretentious or arrogant person that expects them to know so much already. I definitely forget how common it is for just regular people to be such fucking dumb libs about shit but also ina a way willing to listen. Idk it just clicked all of a sudden and allowed me to do more reflection on how to converse more coherently about important issues.

Citations needed is so good, I always recommend it to people to try and radicalize them. I can definitely relate to the difficulty of conveying ideas to people and often times I just regurgitated what was said on citations needed and it has worked almost every time lol. I'd like to recommend other pods but Trueanon can get a bit crazy sometimes and I'm not trying to have them think I carry a tin foil hat around with me.
yeah i think citations needed is an awesome introductory pod to get people to listen to, especially if you can point them to specific ones about specific topics. like if they are just a regular lib, i thought the ones they did on Rudy Giuliani are a great way to break it down how utterly stupid he has always been, being a trump-lite before trump was even really in politics and connecting the mainstream conscious thought of how people think he handled 9/11 and what he actually did and didn't do. They already hate the fucking guy but i bet you a ton of them still say, "he was so good and handled 9/11 well, what happened to him??? " and their critiques of him during that time and connecting it to him now were solid to make them realize has always been a total fucking reactionary scumbag
Mine just showed me how little I use Spotify, my top 5 songs were from a headphones demonstration disc from one time I needed to test new equipment.
I still get music from soul seek lol.
I normally use my portable record player if I want to listen to music, this was just a fluke
