After i graduate i want to get a pair of large dogs, probably rhodesian ridgebacks (i hate the name though) bc they fit my lifestyle.

Idk why but I felt like sharing this: I grew up with a Fila Brasilera, if you don't know what that is pls look up images, generally considered a scary dog it was really weird though I could stick my head in her mouth when I was little and routinely would put my hands in her mouth bc with fetch she never really got the drop part of fetching bdown and bc i was family she did not care that I would do that and she was super good with her "family" which was anyone she met the first nine months of her life. We had her for about 11 years and she was fantastic with those she met before that nine month mark and remembered them. Our neighbors knew her for like 10 years, they moved in around the 11 month mark. She never got used to them, absolutely hated them. My cousins she met when she was like 5 months old, didn't see them for 4 years. She was completely fine with them. She was definitely weird. Huge dog, probably ~120 lbs give or take 10 lbs.

Aw yeah they're so cool but I'm pretty sure they're too smart and bc of that kinda difficult to train, and tbh I can't have a dog smarter than me and that's kind of a low bar to clear
