so apparently microsoft teams needs to be able to install third party cookies on my computer in addition to their own cookies which already were allowed despite every other website being able to work fine without third party cookies. Are they being data hogs or am I being an idiot and all 39 of the cookies it installed were actually necessary?

This is why embedded systems is the only good software. The machines I program can only do the job. It cannot conceive of a web browser, a cookie, or even paged memory. It will never track you or advertise.

    Imagine making these programs..

Counterpoint: The power strip I sledgehammerd the other day because It was randomly connecting to Amazon's servers and sending encrypted data packets when it was supposed to just be switched.

On one hand, you're right, on the other I don't want to touch a fucking C or C++ compiler ever again.

I'm hoping embedded Rust gets more traction.
