To really get you in the right headspace it's 11 PM and there's a Google Home Mini playing What Is Love quietly in the corner

Whatever. I wanted an excuse to draw a map of this abomination
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair
you had time to map it but you didnt have time to just get in there and do some cable management lmao
Bro how exactly am I gonna manage all this shit
Doesn't look impossible to me.
For the horror on the left side, keep the power on the ground, and put everything else above it, and it's not so bad. If a cable's too long, bunch it up with a tie so that it doesn't get everywhere. If 2+ cables of the same type need to travel together, tie them to each other. For the xbox hard drive, put it on top of the xbox.
I should've mentioned this but the image isn't exactly to scale; the ps3 is on top of the 360 for example, and certain things are where they are because I had to use cables I already had that were too short to use neatly
ugggghhhh
Zip ties or cable sleeves, I have a rats nest behind my desk that went away instantly with a zip up cable sleeve.
I clicked it and the white screen blinded me for a bit. Love this site but that be jaring. Also the diagram thing reminds me of some alien blueprint since I don't understand it. No offense. I be thick so more my fault for not getting.
Tbh I purposely made it a bit obtuse for extra comedic effect

now I want to map my stupid console setup. I filled up two power strips just so I wouldn't have to go back there and swap plugs.
Do it I wanna see
How do I upload images on chapo instead of imgur?
Edit: fuckit, imgur
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Just imagine what it looks like behind that ikea tv console. Its impossible to bind the cables in a way that it comes apart nicely. My last move I just left all the HDMI cables plugged into the splitter and packed it as a unit.
WHY DO YOU NEED ALL 4 PLAYSTATIONS ALL OF THEM CAN PLAY PS1 GAMES
WHY IS YOUR WII USING HDMI
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
the PlayStation 1 shares the comp cable with the ps2 actually, thats a mistake. the playstation was free, the ps3 was free, the ps2 is from childhood, and the ps4 was the first console I bought new since the 360. I actually have two PS2s fat and slim, both from childhood but the fat's disk drive is a little odd. I've been meaning to find a hdd to load games onto.
Wii is using HDMI because a friend gave me an adapter and my tv only has one of the composite RCA inputs so the xbox, ps1/2, and n64 gotta share. It also has better picture that way.
There is also a gamecube that I don't plug in because the Wii is overall better and has an external HDD for any game I want. The gamecube just sits on a shelf looking cute.
Doesn't answer why you have a completely redundant console in your setup to begin with
Some people are
gayretro enthusiasts, Turk.I've got a PSX, PS2, and PS3. X-box and X-box 360, for instance.
The 360 doesn't play all OG XBOX games (and some that it does have emulation issues) so that's understandable, but all PS generations can play PS1 games and the original fat PS3s can play PS2 too
Can PS3/PS4 actually play PS1 disks? or do I need to ask Sony if I can buy a 25 year old game again?
I really don't play the PS1 much but I have room on the setup so it makes my slight autism happy to see the sony consoles lined up nice.
The PS3 can for sure play the discs and I'm pretty sure the PS4 can too
I have like 2 PS1 games that are worth playing so I might as well just plug in the og occasionally for the experience.
