    I honestly can't think of any I've seen that weren't full of howlers. Garry Wills' book Papal Sin might be a good starting point to dig deeper into particular eras, though.

    “Constantine’s Sword” is excellent about RC anti Semitism and Nazi Collaboration. Exhaustive book. Like 800 pages. Covers ~1700 years of history.
