Reddit always loves to act like the smartest mother fuckers on earth but you literally cannot be sarcastic without having to SPECIFICALLY denote it with a /s or else you just get flooded in downvotes by dense mother fuckers. But here? I can be as sarcastic as I damn well please and never have to worry about it because I know that people here are smart enough to actually get sarcasm and I don't have to go out of my way to make sure my sarcasm is blatantly obvious

    If you think reddit is bad at this, the donald dot win is way worse. They have no ability to detect any irony at all and are constantly getting angry at each other, getting defensive, and apologizing for the misunderstanding. I think its the age
