It's January - the time to set super ambitious reading resolutions! In that vein, does anyone wanna read some leftist feminist theory this year? :D I know there's a big reading circle on c/books, but this one would focus specifically on feminist issues (/gender issues more broadly).

We could do a book a month and discuss at the end of the month? Or a book every two months, so it's a bit more chill.

Oh! I'm excited to come back to so much enthusiasm! :D :D Does anybody have any ideas of what to read?

The book I've been eyeing for a while is Revolting Prostitutes: The Fight for Sex Workers’ Rights by Juno Mac and Molly Smith. 288 pages, about how sex worker rights fit into feminist and anti-capitalist policies. But I'm absolutely happy to start with anything - either something more foundational or something else people find interesting/pressing.

I decided that maybe we should start with something shorter, but I hope we can make it our book to read in February. Announcement about the Jan book here: https://hexbear.net/post/68513 :D
