Mostly me being a drama queen, but was walking around London in the rain one night being wet, miserable, kinda lost and having nowhere to stay, when I found a chip shop. This was before smart phones and stuff, so I couldn't really get directions anywhere. So I bought some food, and since they were open all night, the chip guy said it was alright that I stayed until the rain stopped. And then I got directions to where I needed to go.

So some hot food, assistance, and a friendly chat when shit felt kinda hopeless kinda went a long way.

And since then, fish's chips kinda tastes like hope.
