It’s filled with 99% reactionaries Who’d have screaming matches everyday where they’d dox and tell each other to commit suicide.

I was on there as a teen since there were small meme communities based on animals and art which I enjoyed but I did look through the popular shit a lot too because I was a self-hating minority and it was an absolute shitshow. Everyday there’d be rinsed and repeated memes about race which they’d always react to in the exact same way.

One meme would get popular making fun of black People, which they’d love. Then one disparaging white men (doesn’t count if it’s women) would show up and they’d proceed to have these Multiple hour long freak out sessions about white male oppression, threaten each other, and semi-regularly out each other as pedophiles. It was such a fucking mess it almost didn’t seem real.

This wasn’t just the case for IFunny though, I also was part of a gaming community that was brimming with reactionaries for years and had reactionary family growing up in a conservative town. The story is more or less the same.

I know this has been said before but I think it’s worth reiterating. While Leftist infighting is something that should be addressed and worked on, the idea that the right is this unified, calculated force is complete garbo. They constantly and immediately escalate all conflicts because they all want to be this murder-hobo hero dude who won’t take no nonsense. None of them could keep relationships going for more than a month before they’d have a falling out over ReSpEcT and were constantly shittesting each other’s imagined authority over the most ridiculous, inane scenarios. The only thing that unified them was their hatred for minorities.

Talking about normie meme communities that are completely filled with reactionaries, I remember how I used to go on 9gag. I swear to god, I don't remember that place being so fucked.

I never went there but considering it’s reputation, I’m glad I didn’t. It’s strange how they can project an image of cool rationality while being some of the most volatile people on the planet.

Back in 2014/15 when I used it was mostly Advice Animals memes, if there was any propaganda I really don't remember. But last year I went there for nostalgia and just found obvious racism on every other post and people idolizing Elon Musk.
