There's these, the butcher AMA yesterday and the glut of people losing their shit trying to justify eating animals on a c/vegan thread. People who are meat were open about it but there wasn't this weird pro-meat thing until recently. It's sus.

          we need to make sure that in our farming we keep the soil intact and don't mismanage it as North Korea had done in the 80s. This, combined with the collapse of the USSR, drought, and capitalist embargo led to major famine; if we want to sustain the revolution we must keep the people fed. Soil preservation techniques are a must for any socialist project

            It really does suck. My buddy majored in geology. He's a valet at a ski resort now. He couldn't find a job that didn't make him feel awful.
