It's consistent. That's my limit. Takes a minimum of a year to recover every time as well.

    I've only worked at startups my whole career. They're unstable as hell, they attract volatile personalities, and layoffs are essentially a guarantee. To top it off I write marketing content, which I'm sure makes everyone here want to vomit but I went to school for creative writing and these are the only people willing to pay me for writing and I'm far enough into my career that I don't know how to get out.

    Within a year or so of working pretty much any job I've identified enough awful things about the job or company that I can't reconcile them enough to buy into it and I start self sabotaging and losing respect for the people who go hard in the paint. I just don't know what else to do. There are only so many jobs that pay a living wage that don't suck your soul out of your body.

      God I feel that. I started out writing for crypto companies and then moving into fucking crypto news because that was the best pay I could get working from solely a portfolio at the time.
