wasn't the intercept started by some mega rich ghoul? The only reason leftists thought it was legit was because Greenwald was really popular at the time, he even appeared at one of the annaul ISO (former US trot group that collapsed) Marxist events, with huge applause. Now that Greenwald is gone, the Intercept seems more suspect. The Grayzone is where its at.
Max can get a little into uncritical support territory but uncritical support for shitty anti-imperialists like Putin is still better than being a 'left' pub that also uncritically publishes CIA shit
I wish I knew more about Max. I just can't wrap my head around how he came to his ideological stance given his father's career and longstanding proximity to the Clintons.
Speaking of Grayzone (and Pierre Omidyar) they have a couple articles about him including one about his role in the "regime change" efforts around the world.
As for the Intercept I'm deeply suspicious of them and wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being some kind of operation. There had to be a reason that this tech billionaire with ties to intelligence agreed to fund an outlet that was reporting on leaked NSA documents. Depending on what day you ask me I lean towards it being some kind of limited hangout.

I'm not sure if it's still the case, but The Intercept was largely funded by Pierre Omidyar who was also a funder of the monstrous SKS, a microfinance organization with a body count. Hundreds Of Suicides In India Linked To Microfinance Organizations

Maybe he’s some kind of anti-buttigieg
Seems like sufficient explanation to me.
Correct, Pierre Omidyar, ebay founder.

The article is:
How tech oligarch Pierre Omidyar funds regime-change networks and partners with CIA cutouts
