I've been offline for a bit. Can someone bring the into the loops? So I guess they are cracking down on IP but this wouldn't actually effect evidence right? Like in a case? The world is so craxy I just don't know whats real and what is parody/dystopian sci-fi anymore
This doesn't affect evidence, but the point is so that we can't share videos of police brutality on social media because they'll get taken down via automated DMCA mechanisms.
Really a great example of how piecemeal reform is completely inadequate here. That approach can only work if the people involved aren't instantly trying to undo every improvement you try.
