I don't think the republican leadership will let the patriot party happen. They'll throw just enough red meat to the base to keep them on the republican train. I think we just saw that with the impeachment, they'll stay as close to trump as they have to, to keep is base with them

Honestly I don't think trump actually wants to start a patriot party. He just says that as a threat to republicans. An attempt to scare them out of throwing him under the bus. Which looking at the failed impeachment seems to have worked
