I've had a copy since GOTY edition, but across 4 increasingly powerful PCs i've had zero luck getting it to run smoothly.

What mods would you recommend for a visual update and bug fixes while remaining somewhat close to retail?

    Please, someone who knows: is there a way to play New Vegas on PC with a controller and automatically run? I want to play in my living room on the big TV but walking everywhere is a nightmare and I can't find an actual working way to run on controller.

      I think run is the default and you press a button to walk slower? I remember I tried it like a year ago with kb+m and moving around was slow as shit
