Seeing the Splatoon 3 announcement made me want to get back into Splatoon. Wondering if anyone here plays and would want to get a team together.

    i play splatoon but i am a fifthly inkbrush/jet squelcher main

    also sometimes i play the aerospray PG and then build my enter gear around spamming burst bombs

        Its an OK strategy IMO. the aerospray is such a bad main weapon for getting splats that speccing into special charge and burst bombs means that you can actually get kills and therefore you can get more ink on the ground

          Ahhh that makes sense! I'm still experimenting with what kinda builds I want to main so I'll have to give that a try.

    Would I need experience from the previous 2? I really enjoyed the demos but never got around to playing them, also felt like they moved on too quickly from the games and that made me kinda hesitate to buy and participate as a late comer.

    Maybe I can finaly join in on this new one

      3 doesn't come out til 2022 so we'd be playing 2 for the time being. No experience necessary!

      I know what you mean about them moving on too quickly. When 2 came out I was excited for a sequel but also felt kinda cheated that I bought 1 and then barely anytime later would have to buy 2 to keep playing. I even bought 1 on launch day and it still felt like way too short of a lifespan.

            The fact that Slippi runs so much better is really embarrassing for Nintendo. A person in the UK using a VPN can connect to a person in California and have less lag than two neighbors playing Ultimate.

      Same, I haven't played online over a year.... I was really into 1 when it first game out, then got really into 2 when it first came out.
