Deer, at least. Need a lot more doe tags though bc CWD and overpopulation. Also deer meat being donated to food banks is a thing, I know people who do, that's good. Also good bc it doesn't support factory farming.

Yesterday there were some Canada geese hanging out in my yard. I let them be, but it got me wondering what the rules are for hunting animals in your own yard? Do self defense/castle doctrine rules apply? Could I legally stab a wild goose to death in my back yard? Do I need a tag?
BTW I've eaten Canada goose meat and it tastes like garbage. Or maybe the meat I had was just freezer burned.
