Alright, comrades. Homelessness and food insecurity are hella on the rise in America. Similar to my guns effort post, I have compiled a state-by-state resource for food banks, food pantries, homeless shelters, and soup kitchens. Please consider donating or volunteering at places within your own communities or surrounding communities. Now is the time to get some praxis in if you're able to.

Each state's FoodPantries.org, FreeFood.org, Homeless Shelter Directory, and Emergency Food Programs Directory links will provide a comprehensive list of each city's respective resources along with website links, hours, how to get involved, so on and so forth. Included are also links to each state's Feeding America page, which should show a list of food banks across your state. They should provide information on food drives, volunteering, and donating.

If you are searching for food banks please note that food banks are distribution hubs. They supply the food to the soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, etc. They in turn provide that food to the individuals that need it. Food banks do not directly serve individuals in need.
