Welcome back. This part of the series will be primarily focusing on genres. This is eventually all going to get compiled into one megathread for people who want gaming recommendations from Chapos specifically. Other consoles and genres will come in sporadic subsequent threads. Please contribute to previous threads if you missed them. This is meant to be an exhaustive list.

Expanding on your choice(s) is definitely a plus. Not everyone knows about or has played non-mainstream titles.

    Elite Dangerous because you can play it without ever running into another player if you don't want and the state of the galaxy changes depending on the actions of players in the MMO. Really cool concept implemented seamlessly.

      The Fuel Rats and other emergent groups are really cool in that game. I wish the design encouraged more stuff like than rather than almost being borderline internet-connected DRM. I get there's economy modelling and stuff but for single player I don't know if that ever actually comes up enough to be worth it.

        Yeah, the always online sucks. I guess that's pretty normal for an MMO, but Elite is weird with the optional single player that's also online
