    I've heard "LGBT representation and pride increases violence against LGBT people" so many times...
    Don't tell marginalized groups how to behave; it is just so stupid and conceited.

      I keep saying it, but we need to just start signing off with it on every social media post.

        It's not just that; outsiders telling us "how to avoid getting in trouble" is so condescending.
        All I would really want to respond to them with is this...
